Sligo Honours War and UN Dead

Sligo town was one of six locations chosen to host a National Day of Commemoration
ceremony yesterday, Sunday 8 July 2012.

The ceremony, organised by Sligo Borough Council, took place at 11am outside
City Hall on Quay Street and was attended by those wishing to honour all
those Irishmen who died in past wars and on service with the United Nations.
