Sligo County Agricultural Show 2012

The Sligo County Agricultural Show was blessed with a beautiful day on Saturday 21st July and the crowds who attended this exciting annual event in Riverstown Community Park all enjoyed their day out.

“We are so pleased that once again all our hard work has paid off” said Michael Harte, Chairman
of the Sligo County Agricultural Show, “The dedication of volunteers in the run up to the show,
and of course on the day, is a credit to the community.”

The Community Arts tent included displays from Taylors Art Gallery & Music Centre,
Lyott Card Designs and Kathy Burke Photography. Visitors also had the
opportunity to watch and chat to Matt Jones Woodturner at work as well
as Oonagh McCann of CeltoiCroi. Both artists demonstrated their
skills with wood much to the admiration of the crowds.
