Sligo Tidy Towns are doing a bag packing fundraiser in Tesco on this Thursday April 26th, Friday 27th & Saturday 28th.
Can you help by giving a couple of hours of your time to assist this 'homegrown' worthwhile cause which is showing instant positive results throughout the town.
The Tidy Towns committee looking for volunteers to help them raise funds to make Sligo a nicer place to live in and visit.
If you are available and willing to donate 2 hours of your time please let them know.
The bag-packing timings are as follows;
Thursday 26 April 4 - 6pm and 6 - 8pmFriday 27 April 4 - 6pm and 6-8pmSaturday 28 April 11- 1pm, 1 - 3pm and 3 - 5 pm.Please email,

Meanwhile An Taisce’s National Spring Clean campaign is still going strong in County Sligo and this week sees more community groups, schools and other organisations taking part in the campaign. The National Spring Clean campaign is Ireland’s largest anti-litter initiative organised by An Taisce and funded by the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government.
This week Killavil Development Group will be cleaning up in Ballymote on Sunday, 29th April.
