Over 100 jobs are to come on stream at six companies across four counties, it was announced this morning.
Enterprise Minister Richard Bruton and the junior minister in his department Sean Sherlock announced the news in two separate investments.
The bulk of the new positions - 77 - are being created by five 'European high-growth companies', which have announced plans to establish Irish operations.
Around 40 will be created at Culture Translate and Nimble Apps which are preparing to establish operations in Dublin.
The others are divided across Dublin, Dundalk in Co Louth, and Limerick, with positions being provided by Unique Digital, Diaceutics and iMosphere.
The news has been announced as part of an IDA event in Berlin this week which is showcasing Ireland as a location of choice for high growth companies.
Meanwhile, 30 new jobs have been announced at a company in Cork.
M/A - COM Technology Solutions is expanding its operation which already employs 68 people.
