Fianna Fáil Finance spokesperson Michael McGrath TD will visit Sligo on Thursday February 16th
to give a breakfast briefing, at 8AM
in the Sligo Southern Hotel
, to address the plans of Fianna Fáil to help meet the challenges faced by businesses and society in the Sligo, Leitrim, South Donegal and West Cavan areas. CDC Chairman Joe Shannon described Deputy McGrath as a key member of the Fianna Fáil front bench and someone who can bring about changes for the better to the lives of people across the country.
The meeting will be structured to allow Deputy McGrath to give his vision and plans for improving the lot of businesses and individuals in the region and for the electorate and business community to convey their concerns for the success of the region to an important policy maker who is likely to have a major influence on the future of our country
Topics will include but are not limited to: Brexit
Challenges facing development in the North West
Infrastructure (Road, Rail and Broadband)
Health service investment and ongoing development of services in regional centres.
Local TDs Marc MacSharry and Eamon Scanlon along with many of the local councillors and representatives from across the constituency will also be in attendance.
