Gardaí seek help in finding missing man last seen in Sligo

Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a missing man who was last seen boarding a bus to Derry at Sligo Bus Station.

Aonghus Ryan, (30) from Dunboyne, Co Meath, was last seen at the bus station in Sligo town on Friday, June 30th.

He is described as being 5 foot, eight inches, stocky build and dark blonde hair.

He was wearing blue runners, blue shorts and a navy blue jumper when he was last seen boarding the bus.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Leixlip Garda Station on 01 666 7800 or any Garda station.

Meanwhile the funeral took place on Saturday in Bundoran of the man whose body was found on Thursday morning at Sligo's bus station.

He has been named as 31-year old Greg Innes, known as 'Greggie'.

A post mortem on the body was carried out and gardaí are not treating his death as suspicious.
