Cllr Dara Mulvey has been in discussion with Ulster Bank management since the announcement of the closure of the bank's Ballymote branch which is scheduled to take place on September 8th.
Cllr Mulvey told Sligo Today
, "I recently received confirmation that a mobile Ulster Bank van will be visiting south Sligo.
"I have had further discussions with management and as of today, Thursday, I would advise that the following services that will be available on the mobile unit. T
"The mobile bank route and timings are not yet finalised but due to be completed shortly and details should be available soon.
"I have also arranged a follow up meeting with Ulster Bank anagment for early September and anyone wishing to attend this meeting with questions are encouraged to contact me.
See below a list of services that will be provided by the mobile unit;
- Bill Payments - (with pre encoded giro)
- Fast lodgement (on new vans only)
- Cheque and lodgement book order
- Anytime banking registrations
