'Future of Towns' Summit taking place in Sligo

An all-island summit with the main aim of helping resource our towns and villages to regenerate and grow is set to take place on 18th October 2017 in Sligo.

The “Future of Towns Summit 2017” brings together thought leaders in town regeneration, government departments, local authorities, tourism, business associations and community groups from right across the island of Ireland.

Case studies of successful town renewal projects will round off the conference.

The summit, which will be hosted by Bobby Kerr, includes a line-up of blue-chip speakers, including; Tara Buckley (RG Data), Danny McCoy (IBEC), David Fitzsimons (Retail Excellence Ireland), Gail McGibbon (Sligo BID), Catherine Curran (Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation), Stephen Purcell (Future Analytics), David MacNulty (Tourism Development International), David Minton (Northern & Western Regional Assembly) and Kevin Traynor (Coach Tourism and Transport Council).
