Winner of year's free parking in Sligo competition

Sligo County Council and Sligo Business Improvement District have announced the October winner of the "Win A Year's Free Parking" raffle currently being run in Sligo Town.

The joint venture between the two organisations means that each month one lucky person will get 12 months of free parking (valid in any of Sligo's three public car parks.

October's winner is Maureen McNally and was drawn by Sligo Traffic Warden Steven Burns. pictured.

Congratulations to Maureen who will have no parking charges in Sligo for the next 12 months.

To enter the next draw, simple fill out your details on the entry card available at 18 locations around Sligo Town and pop it in the entry box.

Entries do not roll over and you can enter each month as many times as you wish. Raffle entry boxes are available at Bistro Bianconi, WB’s Coffee House, Mullaney Brothers, The Wine Buff, Osta Café & Wine Bar, Armin Lowe and Son Jewellers Ltd, Action, Alfie’s The Barber Shop, Tech Express/Sound Computers, Sligo Supply Centre, Salon 2, Carraig Donn, Lyons Café, Tohers the Chemist, Barton Smith Sports, Conway’s Newsagents, Heart's Desire and The Blind Tiger.

The Win a Year’s Free Parking’ promotion is sponsored by Sligo County Council and Sligo Business Improvement District to highlight the 4,168 parking spaces available in Sligo Town and both organisations would like to thank the 3,000 entries received to date.
