Firefighters are at the scene of a light Cessna aircraft crash in County Antrim.
The small plane, thought to be a Cessna, reportedly came down between Nutts Corner and Loanends at about 12:20 BST.
It has been confirmed that two people, including the pilot, died in the incident.
Local residents said that nothing could be done for the victims as the plane was engulfed in flames after the impact.
Nutts Corner is just a mile from Belfast International Airport but officials said the plane was not going into or out of the airport.
Three fire engines, the police and ambulance service are at the scene.
The NI Ambulance Service put its major incident protocols into action after the incident.
